Inspiration: Chefchaouen and the Amazigh world

The name of our brand is a tribute to Chefchaouen, the blue city of the Moroccan Rif built in 1471 in Amazigh territory. This city, known worldwide for its blue-painted streets, is a meeting point between Arab culture, the Amazigh heritage and the Andalusian influence. From its souks and its artisans, we received inspiration to create accessories that honored that cross-cultural wealth.

Materials and artisanal process

As in all Xauen Original collections, the material base of the Amazigh Collection is high-quality vegetable-tanned leather of Spanish origin. This leather, processed with natural tannins in tanneries with centuries of tradition, is the material that distinguishes genuine artisanal accessories from the synthetic or bonded leather products that populate the mass market.

The Amazigh Collection bracelets use Xauen Original's silver-plated metal closure system: it has four bracelet sizes and the metal closure allows the bracelet to be put on and taken off easily.
