The collection arose from the search for an accessory that would unite the robustness and naturalness of handcrafted leather with the visual and symbolic richness of gemstones. Materials: Hand-selected natural stones

Each variation in the Rumi Collection uses 8-millimeter diameter natural stone beads, carefully selected for their quality, color uniformity, and polished finish. We do not work with glass imitations or reconstituted stones: all beads are natural minerals, extracted, cut, and polished with artisanal precision.

The leather used for the clasp and eyelet is vegetable-tanned leather of Spanish origin, the same high-quality material that defines the entire Xauen Original collection. This leather is worked to create the brand's exclusive eyelet system: a leather loop that allows you to put on and take off the bracelet without untying the knot, simply by passing the silver-plated metal button through the eyelet.

The artisanal process: patience and precision

Making a Rumi bracelet requires time and attention to detail. The process begins with the individual selection of each bead: we discard any that have imperfections or size differences that affect the overall visual harmony. Only the beads that pass this inspection move on to the assembly phase. The assembly is done by stringing the beads onto a strong nylon thread of precise gauge, with knots between each bead that keep them secure and prevent them from shifting. This process requires meticulous patience: each knot must be tight but without damaging the stone, and perfectly positioned so that the spacing between beads is uniform.

Once the beadwork is complete, the artisan adds the vegetable-tanned leather loop and the silver-plated metal button, working the leather to ensure the closure system is functional, durable, and aesthetically integrated with the overall design. The final result is a natural stone and leather bracelet that no industrial production can replicate.

Are the stones in the Rumi Collection natural or synthetic?

All the beads in the Rumi Collection are real natural stones—obsidian, quartz, jasper, onyx, lapis lazuli, aventurine, rhodonite, and more—selected one by one. We do not use glass, plastic, or reconstituted stones. Each bead features the color variations and inclusions inherent in genuine geological material, making each bracelet unique and one-of-a-kind.

What sizes do Rumi bracelets fit?

Xauen Original's exclusive leather loop system makes Rumi bracelets adjustable for wrists between approximately 15 and 23 cm. Once you tie the metal button to the desired size, the bracelet is fixed at that size and can be easily put on and taken off without untying the knot, simply by passing the button through the leather loop.

Can I get Rumi natural stone bracelets wet?

We do not recommend getting Rumi bracelets wet regularly. Vegetable-tanned leather tolerates occasional moisture, but prolonged immersion can damage both the leather and some porous stones (such as volcanic rock or aventurine). If they get wet, let them air dry at room temperature away from heat sources.

What does 'rutilated quartz' mean, and what makes it special?

Rutilated quartz is crystalline quartz with inclusions of rutile, a titanium oxide mineral that forms golden, silver, or copper strands within the crystal. These inclusions are completely natural and make each bead visually unique. Rutilated quartz is culturally associated with mental clarity and energy amplification.

Is the Rumi Collection unisex?
